Likes:
LOVES water!.. Nothing better than my humans turning on the hose and letting me run through the water, jumping, biting at the water, or playing in sprinklers!

Pet-Peeves:
She is so sweet and mild tempered, she does not seem to have any pet peeves. She is very willing to try new things, old things.. do whatever is asked of her.. Isn't that great?! Although she is not real keen on strangers.

Favorite Toy:
Sprinklers!.. *Oh please, oh please turn on the sprinklers.. please please! Just let me run around in the sprinklers!*

Favorite Food:
Chopped Beef from Trader Joe's and crunchy food mixed in!

Favorite Walk:
Around the neighborhood, anywhere that her humans go, she enjoys following.

Best Tricks:
She can jump straight up 5' in the air without a running start, she used to dance along the fence when she wanted to see us!

Arrival Story:
She was running about the freeway when Dad pulled over and picked her up. Poor poor baby, how someone could do that to a dog is quite sad. She was taken to the vet, checked up and came home with us. Our neighbors had recently lost their dog, so we asked them if they would like her. They fell in love with her and took her in right off! A few years later, our neighbor's husband got ill and BugBug became too much for the lady to handle and she gave her back to us.We could all spend time with her that way!

Bio:
She is a wonderful, good watch dog, so loyal and lovable! She still loves playing in the water, and digging holes along the fence that separates our place from the neighbors! She loves hearding other animals.. not just dogs, our cats as well. She spends her day chasing the birds, sleeping, or chasing her own tail! Silly dog! Sweet sweet LayLee.

I have been putting off this entry for some time now..

Our wonderful, sweet, and loving LadyBug has now gone to a better place. She was, as the vet told us, well past her life expectancy at the age of 15 nearly 16 years. She was suffering from very severe arthritis and though the medicine was helping for a little while, it only seemed to mask the problem. While on this medicine, her immune system gradually began to decline and she began to suffer. So we tried a new vet, who gave her something to make her feel better, but essentially there was nothing that could be done.

For everyone that knew LadyBug, she will always be remembered as one of the best dogs to ever join our family. She will always be missed and loved. Until the end she was always looking out for us and I just hope we did our very best for her and she knew how much we loved and still love her.

Thanks to everyone who was friends to my BugBug.

Arthritis.. *this entry is a recent memory

Even in my old age, and suffering from severe Arthritis.. it's in my back you see, so to alleviate it I must keep my front paw up.. I still feel the need to keep a close eye out for my humans. I watch the house, and keep on top of strange persons entering our yard, I try to keep them safe from all harm. My humans took me to the vet to get me some medicine for my arthritis, and it seemed to help me, I could use my paw again. Unfortunately that only worked for a small time, the vet said it was all they could do for me, sadly now the arthritis is stronger and I have to keep my hind leg up to help my back from hurting. But still my humans try, they give me medicine 3 times a day to make me feel better, but I can not move around very well.
----*----*----*----*----*----
Given our bugbugs condition, she saw a strange man approaching the house one afternoon, I was sitting in the house alone when I heard the comotion. I ran outside quickly to see Ladybug jump to her feet and start barking and moving to place herself between me and this stranger. He was a delivery man, and not known to either of us. Despite her limited mobility and use of only 3 legs.. she moved as quick as I have ever seen, to keep me safe from this stranger. A trooper through and through.
