Well, I don't feed him people food, but he likes the wet and dry food I give him.
Favorite Walk:
The three of us take a walk everyday after I get home from work. He likes to walk around the neighborhood and meet new people.

Sleeping! Actually I haven't seen any yet. I will keep you posted.
Arrival Story:
I wanted to get a companion for Mel. Greyhounds usually do better at least in pairs. Hero was a surrender to the local Greyhound Adoption group that I've recently joined. He had some issues. But he went to the vet, and is getting fixed up. He had an apparent broken leg that wasn't set, or set incorrectly. He has arthritis and will need to be treated and watched as he ages. Well, I have arthritis too, so I figured that I would really be understanding. Mel and I went to meet him and his foster mom said that he really warmed up to me fast. Mel was a little nervous at the foster's house. She gets worried when she has to walk on laminate or tile floor. But outside, the two socialized well. So, we started to move forward on the adoption.
Bio:
The adoption coordinator brought Hero over with a bag of his goodies. His meds were there, and so were 2 stuffies. His coat was there as well as all the papers and records on him. He did fine the first night and survived my day at work. We're on Day 3 now.... and it's like he's always been here. He is very sweet, but being that he's almost 85 pounds, he's a very gentle giant.
