Likes: walking in the park and chasing the cat.

Pet-Peeves: being left! People messing with my private stash under mommies' bed.

Favorite Toy: human hands, my fox and baby monkey. Oh lets not forget toys baby Ella and Evan gave me.

Favorite Food: Can you say BENEFUL? I got nuts for it. Even Oliver, my cat bro, rushes to the kitchen when mommy opens the little tubs of moist goodness.

Favorite Walk: Lincoln Park. I especially enjoy hikes.

Best Tricks: Climbing the gates, which mommy retired, a running leap onto the bed without using a step or tmy kennel.

Arrival Story: After venting to my coworker about my unsuccessfully adoption attempts, she stated that she didn't know I wanted a dog. She had been hoping to identify a loving home for her baby - who became my baby. It was an immediate open adoption!

I went to the doggie doc on Tuesday; Im healthy, but my tummy hurt. I have a funny hat on my head. Mommy had such sad eyes when she got home from work; i was glad to see her. I wanted to go on my walk, but mommy said no. I should stay in and use my piddle pad. My stiches were to new. I couldnt get at them with the satellite on my head. I cried all night in pain. My other mommy stayed close to me all day and night. She massaged my whole body, from head to paws to comfort me.
All I really wanted is to go hiking like we did on Saturday. What fun! I met another doggie on the trail - a retriever mix. He was hiking with his paw parents, and grandparents. I did a full photo shoot on the hike. Photos to come.
Yesterday, I had to get outside. I piddled on the doormat. Mommy didnt get upset. She knew I was excited to leave the house; howeve, she wouldnt take the satellite off of my head. How EMBARASSNG! But I was outside so who cares? I saw my upsatirs neighbor Mr V. He told me he missed he, and too get well soon. I made it to the park, but boy was I exhausted. I sat right down in the grass, and looked right up into my mommies' eyes. They picked me up, and carried me back home. A little wipe down, meds, snack, and back to bed. Mommy noticed a tick right nexted to my eye. How could that be? Mommy put medicine on me before the hike. The tick was removed much to mommy's disdain.
My moms' put my bed on their bed, so I could be massaged all through the night to comfort me. I cant wait to be back to my old self. Send positive vibrations and or prayers as I continue healing.
Until next time . . .

On Wednesday, when mommy took me to the park, I saw the first friend I made Milo. I hadn't seen him in about 3 weeks. His paw mommy said that she had water damage to the basement; contractors had where in and out and of course it took longer than expected.
It felt good to see my friend; I ran around with him a little in the field, with both of our moms. It was so refreshing, especially with my hair blowing in the wind. He told me that he remembered my first day at the park, and how shy I was.
PS Im a big girl now . . . Last Saturday morning, I let mommy sleep in because I had a plan. When we got outside, and crossed the street to the park, I stopped walking. I put my paw down, and would not budge! I led mommy in another direction . . . straight to the local dog park! Mommy was so surprised. I had only been on two occassions, and I even took a different route to get there. I had the big doggie park all to myself. Im such a big girls.
