Arrival Story:
My sister in law purchased a Dachshund and Skippy is his brother. He was very ill and only weighed 3/4's of a pound the breeder was going to let nature take it's course. It was 3 days before Christmas and I called the breeder to see how he was doing. She said he was very weak and not eating and was not going to make it. I told her I had nursed many animals and she said that she would be more than happy to give me him to try to save him. I feed him every hour around the clock. After 3 weeks he showed great signs of improve- ment. He is now twice the size of his brother.
