Arrival Story:
Quinn is around 7 years old and although he is deaf, he is very confident and not easily startled. Quinn loves being around people more than anything in the world. He is affectionate and loves to play! Quinn does best with large dogs and is not well suited for a home with small dogs or cats. Because he is deaf, Quinn should not be placed in a home with young children. Quinn is already house-trained and crate-trained. He still needs a little work on his leash manners and some basic obedience skills. Austin Boxer Rescue will pay for his new family to go to deaf-dog training classes to get this special dog off to a great start! As part of our Silver Hearts Program there will be no adoption fee for this dog. We are looking to place older dogs in loving homes so they can enjoy the rest of their lives. Older dogs can truly be a blessing so please take the time to consider being part of the Silver heart program.
