Success!

Syrus has finally caught a squirrell. Now he has a bloodthirst for furry rodents and our backyard which was once a small piece of nature's paradise is now a barren wasteland where no animal dares to enter. Good job, Syrus.

Playing with dolphins

today we went to the sands like we do everyday, except today there were dolphins swimming close to shore! Mommy threw the ball into the water and as we were going to fetch it, four fins went right in front of us! Bibi and I swam out to sniff the dolphins, who were playing just like we were! I swam as fast as I could to the spot where the dolphins were playing, and the all of a sudden a big burst of bubbles came up under me! We wanted to play with them more, but we were swimming out too far from the beach and mommy made us come back. Maybe next time we go to the sands, our dolphin buddies will be out there playing too!

BiBi has a big mouth!!

BiBi knows darn well what the rules in this household are!
1.) If I like it, it's mine.
2.) If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
3.) IF I CAN TAKE IT FROM YOU, IT'S MINE!!!!
4.) If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
5.) If I'm chewing something up, ALL THE PIECES ARE MINE!!

BiBi needs a spanking, cause everytime I chew on something that's MINE, she gets mad and starts yelling at me, then mommy shows up and TAKES IT AWAY from me! That Brat!

My first camping trip

Mommy and Daddy took me camping at Hunting Island, along with my aunties Jess and Shai. We drove for a long time, and when we finally got there it was close to dusk. I was happily sniffing the entire campsite, and boy did I smell alot of really cool stuff!

Everybody was busy with some weird nylonclothlike contraption, and mommy was frantically trying to start a campfire and set up the camp before it got dark. I tried to help by pulling everything out of the bags for her. Then all of a sudden an argument breaks out - something about somebody who forgot to pack the tent poles...?

daddy disappeared somewhere and mommy and auntie Jess and Shai got the fire going. It was quickly getting dark....where is daddy??? At first mommy and aunties sat around the fire talking and cooking some yummy smelling sausages.

Then we heard a noise. What was THAT?!? Everybody went quiet, and I was so scared, all I could do was puff up like a cat and try to look as big and mean as I could. I think if I had actually saw something I might have peed on myself.

Then I realized that all the lanterns were going dim - oh NO! The darkness was creeping closer and closer to us and our sausages...I had to be brave!

Daddy is nowhere to be found, and I know that he's the one who protects us. The alpha dog position has been left to me, but what do I do? I say we stay in the light and shiver!

Pretty soon it was pitch black, with only the light from the fire protecting us. I can smell all kinds of scary creatures lurking around, and now I sense some fear in mommy and aunties. There is a perfect circle of light from the fire, and I don't think we should step a toe out of the circle. We must guard the sausages!

FINALLY daddy comes back!! Thank God, I'm so happy I forgot about being in the light and jumped all over daddy, who was carrying big plastic sticks and more of that nylon cloth. Mommy told daddy that I was a complete wuss, and all I did was sit by the fire all puffed up and protecting the sausages. Well, what else was I supposed to do??

My day at the beach..

When mommy and daddy took us out yesterday, I thought we were going to the park or the doggie store. We stopped at a million places and soon I began to wonder where the heck we are going. My little sister (who is dumb) just fell asleep in the backseat, but I was really excited. We had to be going somewhere really interesting! I had my head out the window, sniffing the air and taking in the scenery when I smelled crisp ocean air. We drove over the bridge, and I knew it - we were going to the beach!!!! Wooohooo!

We haven't been to the beach in months! All I could do was run in circles and whine. Mommy took forever to find a parking spot, and BiBi was still snoring away on the backseat. Finally, mommy let us out, and I raced BiBi to the water. I heard the water kong whizz by and ran faster. I saw the kong land in the water and dove into the waves to get it.

I guess BiBi can't swim.

I was having the time of my life, I love to sniff the seagull poo on the beach, and chase the little ghost crabs. BiBi just HAD to sniff everything I sniffed first. Then, daddy must have seen or smelled something in the sand, cause he started digging. Well, that's MY department, so I helped him dig, and schooled him on what its all about. I dug and dug and dug. When I looked up, I couldn't see over the edge of my hole. Mommy came over and laughed at me cause I still hadn't found what daddy was looking for.

I kept digging, but then the tide came in and started filling my hole with water! I had to dig faster if I was going to find it! This time I plowed into the sand, and struck mud. I don't know how much longer I dug but I remember daddy pulling me out of the hole and mommy taking a picture of me. Daddy wouldn't let me dig anymore, so I had to play with the annoying BiBi in the water. BiBi is so stupid, she spent the whole time chasing the waves.
