Ana Maria saves her family from fire!

It was 3:30 in the morning, and Ana Maria, who sleeps through everything, even hurricanes, was restless. She kept trying to wake up her mom, that would just roll over to the other side and try to go back to sleep. But Ana Maria insisted, so mom finally got up, turned on the light and mumbled in the middle of a yawn: "What?" She was still restless. Mom looked at the food dish, and the dry food was untouched. There was fresh water in her bowl. The litter box in hte bathroom was nice and clean (Ana Maria and her brother Marcello do not have to go outside to go to the bathroom, as they both use a doggie litter box). Mom then decides to look outside, and sure thing, there was smoke everywhere. The dumpster in the back alley had something inside of it that was on fire, and the smoke was getting more intense rapidly. Mom called the local police, who contacted the firefighters. They put the fire out and all was well. The dumpster was (and still is) very close to a tree with dried up leaves, and the tree is close to our building and the neighbor's house. Mom was (and is!) very proud of her little girl, who got a very special "spa" treatment complete with brushing her hair and teeth (she loves it!), and a nice, relaxing massage before going back to sleep. In retribution, Ana Maria put her little paws around mom's neck, and slept like that, as if hugging her mom. Her brother got special attention, too, and slept behind his mom, with his paws touching mom's shoulders. It was as if both puppies were hugging their mom. Mom slept with a big smile on her face...

Ana Maria chases deer in Texas!

Ana Maria went to Texas with mom and her big brother Marcello for seven weeks. She loved chasing deer in the parks!
