Dooli loves to play, run and jump. He just loves life! He likes to wrestle on the Big Bed, run around in his backyard,and he likes to bark at the birds and squirrels. He's a very happy pup!
Pet-Peeves:
He HATES the hose! He will growel at it, bite it, jump at it and if I spray him with the hose he goes wild! He also doesn't like the lawn mower and will chase it and growel at it. Dooli will chase any squirrel he sees.
Favorite Toy:
Doolie loves toys and really likes his fleece hand made 'squido' toy. He likes his tug toy and LOVES to wrestle with dad's gloved hands.
Favorite Food:
Salmon and chicken! We give him a fresh cooked diet with specially added vitamins and minerals for dogs on an all protein diet.
Favorite Walk:
Doolie's favorite places to walk include our neighborhood, Bark Park, the rose garden and his own back yard.
Best Tricks:
Dooli can 'sit' and he knows 'down'. He can jump up to chase squirrels, wakes us up on Saturday morning, and jumping for his dinner.
Arrival Story:
Doolin was picked up as a stray hundreds of miles from where he lives now. The local shelter gave him an exam and found that he had a wound of some kind on back right leg. It didn't need stitches, but he was given antibiotics and a cone for his head so he wouldn't lick the wound. When his holding date came and went without anyone claiming him, Sheltie Shack Rescue and lots of other people we have never even met helped Dooli get to Kansas. He came to us on a cold January night to help us honor the memory of our Little Big Man, Connor Mac Nessa, who passed away at Christmas. He will help heal our hearts, and we will help his.
Bio:
Doolie is a Blue Merle Sheltie with a drop of blue in the bottom of his right eye. He's a cute and very friendly little guy who loves everyone he meets and he loves life! He's a happy pup.
