Arrival Story:
Well, we were all very depressed about the recent departure of our previous mix-breed dog, Snoopy, and eventually we decided we needed another dog to fill the gap in our lives... and so forth into life with us sprang Bosley, our beautiful Lab.

He sleeps a lot, so I sometimes call him "Sleeping Bosley", and he never barks, so I sometimes refer to him as "The Quiet One", and we're all actually British, but we moved to the US years ago. Also, he was 8 weeks old when we got him, and he's been with us ever since. One last thing worth mentioning is that his prospective middle name is "Sesame", but it's not official or on his birth certificate. I just came up with it and we all though it was cute. :P

The Life Of A Sleeping Bosley

My First Diary Entry!

Hi, my name's Bosley. And no, it's not about the men's hair product. That would be weird. Anyway, I'm actually named after a British celebrity... but that doesn't really matter I'm sure. Why would I be named after an old, barely popular BRITISH celebrity? Easy, I am British. But me and my humans live in the USA now. We moved in 2007. My humans had a debate about whether to take me or not, because of how much it costs, but my trusty best friend Eve persuaded them all to. So, fortunately, I still live with the folks I've known and loved since I was 8 weeks old. Ah, good times, good times.

Anyway, one thing anyone who reads this should know about me is that, to a certain level, I'm not really a normal dog. You see, I don't bark. I've been alive for a good 9 years, and in that times I've barked about 3 times. The first time, it just came out of no where and I scared myself, the second time, I was all riled up about a treat Eve was offering and it just sort of slipped out, and you know how a treat can do that to you. Love those things. Anyway, the last time I barked was in my sleep... I just remember my humans talking about it. They don't think I can understand them... but secretl I listen to all the conversations they have over the dinner table... mwahahahaha-- oops, sorry, got a little carried away there.

Another thing you might want to know is that I'm a lot smaller than most Labradors. I'm still in a pretty large category, as I weigh about 63 lbs, but I'm quite small for my breed and age. Oh well, great things come in small packages!

So I guess you'd rather hear about what's going on know, rather than just a bunch of fluff about me, right? Well, as of now, I'm lying in my bed, sniffing the afternoon air gently floating through the open window nearby, listening to one of my humans type on that computer thing that makes weird noises and I sometimes see myself in, with my eyelids ever so gently closing, all curled up in a nice warm ball to keep the breeze out...
