Arrival Story:
Joey was a happy accident! Mama was fostering a little male Chihuahua before Christmas 2010. She thought he was fixed. Surprise! He wasn't! Sadie Belle is Joey's mama. She had 4 babies, and Joey was born first. He was also the biggest. The babies were premature, and the other 3 died within 3 days. Joey made it, tho, and he's Mama's pride & joy! Mama decided she couldn't give him up, so he is living with us forever.
Bio:
Joey is a spoiled little man, but he's as sweet as can be, and VERY smart! He loves to cuddle with Mama & be petted and to roughhouse with his mom Sadie & Aunt Ginni. We don't know what we'd do without this little guy!

Hi Friends!
Yesterday morning, Mama had just gotten up and was getting ready to give everyone their breakfast, when I got in trouble! Well...I'm not supposed to chase the cats, but they run and it's SOOO much fun to chase them! So I decided to chase my new foster brother kitty, Shoshone. He looked like he'd be a good sport, like my kitty brothers Nibbles, Charlie & PJ.
Shoshone decided he didn't like being chased and hid in a corner of the living room under a little table. Well, that looked like a fun new part of the game to me, so I tried to get him to come out! Shoshone hit me!!!
In the eye!!! With his CLAW!!!
Mama made me quit chasing Shoshone, but when she saw my eye all full of blood, she panicked!!! We were at Doc's office within 20 minutes (that's FAST). Mama thought for sure I'd loose my eye.
Doc said Shoshone got me on my eyelid instead of in my eye. He told my I was VERY lucky and I'd better leave Shoshone alone. Now I have to get medicine in my eye 4 times every day until it's better. I still think it's fun to chase kitties, tho. Mama says I'll never learn!

Hey, everybody!
The groomer came to our house to give my sisters baths yesterday, and Mama asked her to do me, too! It was my FIRST GROOMING! And, of course, Mama took pictures and she posted them on my page! What a mess!
I can't say that I'm really fond of getting groomed. I'd just as soon have stayed dirty, but Mama said I had to. First it was the bath - I suffered thru. Then they sprang the HAIRDRYER on me - I said "no way!" but they didn't listen. I really hated that! Then they put this thing on my nose (just in case I happened to object - well, duh!) - and went after my nails! What next!!!
Well, I have to say, Miss Marcia is a nice lady. And at least it's all over now. Maybe I won't have to do this again? I can always hope!
