Arrival Story:
Cecily & her mama, Gwen came to us thru the rescue Mama volunteers for. Tho they were older, Aunt Caron thought they would still be adoptable, so she rescued them from the shelter. But when Mama took them in to be fixed & checked, Cecily was found to have a bad heart. So she will stay with us & her mama Gwen here until it's time for her journey to the Bridge. We love her!!!
Bio:
Cecily came to us very quiet and shy, but she's really opened up to be a sweet & friendly little girl since we've had her. We're so glad she'll be living with us!

Hello to all my Dogster Friends!
I just decided today that a diary would be a great thing to have! My life is so full here that I want to tell everyone how great things are going!
When my DogMom, Gwen & I came to our new home and to Mama last June, we had been dumped in a kill shelter in California, and were so totally lost and scared. We couldn't understand how our people could just leave us, after so many years of loving them. We were 10 & 11 years old! But a wonderful rescue person took us out of that awful place and brought us to Arizona, where another rescue worker took the time to see that we had potential to be loving members of a family for our golden years.
Mama took us in to foster, and for the first time in quite awhile, we were taken to the vet. We were spayed & given our shots & generally checked over. I was found to have a bad heart, and to be very attached to my dogmom, so we couldn't be separated.
My dogmom was discovered to have cancer, making her unadoptable. That's okay, tho, because Mama kept both of us! We are so happy & feel so loved now, and are so grateful for a forever home for our golden years together. And now as a part of Dogster, we have so many new friends all over the world! What could be better for two old ladies? LOL
