Arrival Story:
My story isn't exactly clear. I ended up in a rural North Carolina shelter on a euthanize hold. A nice lady from Washington DC came to rescue me and some of my pals. She had me neutered and groomed, and had me and my pals brought to Washington for adoption. A goofy couple spotted me at an adoption event and immediately fell in love with me - of course! Other people came to ask about me and tell me how cute I was, but I had already picked out my new parents. My Mom thinks I used to live with a female because I obviously prefer her over dad! I like to bark and protect her when she kisses Dad, but for some reason she keeps doing it! I tried to sleep in the bed with them but the bedroom is off-limits for me now, but that's fine with me as long as I have their couch!
