Arrival Story:
Jethro was the result of an accidental litter between a purebred Rough Collie and a purebred German Shorthaired Pointer. There were 9 pups in the litter and the family was able to rehome 6 of them but couldn't find homes for the last three so our rescue stepped up since the family had since had the mother spayed, that they paid for the first two rounds of vaccines for the pups, and they were really invested in finding appropriate homes for the pups.

Bio:
Jethro is learning how to acclimate to new and varied environments. The first day he was away from his original home he was timid with people and new dogs but when I met him 2 days later (he was at the rescue HQ for a day) he wasn't too timid at all and met all my dogs with ease. He is already enrolled in puppy classes to continue his socialization and will be learning basic obedience. He is being crate trained and is learning about house training. He has a fabulous personality!! Very laid back for a puppy and while he has lots of energy, it's not over the top and he is capable of just laying down and chewing a toy.
