Arrival Story:
Petey was found in the Bronx-NY in December 2003. He must have been left out in the cold without any food because he didn't have what it took to be a fighting dog. He was taken to a shelter in Manhattan where he meet Patti and Chris. They took him to their house in the hopes of finding him a better life. In February 2004, Petey entered into a rescue program, of which I was a part of. Petey's adoption requirements were a good family who lived in New England. He was in foster care and I was the back up foster for the Pitties. He came to my house a few times while his foster mom went on vacation and was always a good boy. The last time I had him, I was concerned about his red-ness and reasearched his medicals. Turned out, he had allergies, just like my other Pittie. After being in loving foster care for a year, I knew his chances were even more slim for a hopeful adoption future. That is when I decided I could have two Pitties who require allegy shots and he was home!!

Bio:
Petey will forever be grateful to Patti and Chris for taking him out of the shelter, caring for him and supporting him during his foster care. Petey will also be forever grateful to both Pat and her Pittie "Hamilton" for opening up their home for over 9 months to this wonderful boy. LOTS OF LOVE AND LICKS TO EACH ONE OF YOU!! Petey is proud to have his CGC and TDI!!!
