Mom's Shining Star

Too Smart for my own good!

So I know a couple days have gone by since this happened but mom is still worried about what I did :( Oh yea I need to tell you what happened first! So my mom went out front to water the grass and well I was inside but since she was out there the door wasn't locked and I really really wanted to be out there with her so since I'm a big and SMART boy I jumped up and let myself and Luna, Jake and piper out as well. Luna and Jake tore off into the neighbors yard. I trotted up to mom and she immediately grabbed my collar and walked me back inside. she didn't see I was the one to open the door so as soon as she ran for Luna and Jake I was back outside running to her! well she got piper and I again and this time closed the wooden door, I'm tall enough to reach the handle but this handle is round instead of hook like so I can't open it yet. Luna and Jake weren't too hard to get, they listen well but when running free get a little excited about other things so mom had to call a few times and then Luna came and Jake just stayed still once he saw mom walking towards him. Mom isn't super angry but she just worries about if she ever has to leave and someone leaves the screen open and unlocked that we will all get out and possibly lost. Sorry mom just wanted to be with you so bad I figured it out.

My first public Apearance

So Mommy Has something called social anxiety disorder, this means she is very uncomfortable around certain people and especially strangers. She and I found out very shortly after her and daddy brought me home that I am a very good boy and not only that, when we go for walks I stay right by my mommies side and I make her feel more comfortable. Today mom had a dilemma, The car has a crack in the gas tank and she had to walk to the bank. Moms disorder makes it hard for her to leave the house alone so she called the bank to make sure she could bring me, and guess what they said yes! So I got to walk with my mom down our block around a mall and through the parking lot to the bank. When we got there all eyes were on mommy and I but I made sure mommy knew I was there for her, I leaned against her leg and ignored everyone else while she wrote on the deposit slip and I laid down by her side while she talked to the teller. On our way out this nice couple stopped to say hello to me, I liked the lady most she had a kind voice. I pulled a little on the leash but that was only when we walked by the busy mall's bus stop, the bus was so big it kinda scared me but mommy stopped and had me sit and watch the bus leave. I guess mom and I help each other out because I am scared of things too but she teaches me as I teach her that we don't need to be afraid of everything. I had a great time with mommy today though the trip was short it made her so proud of me and I was happy I got to go.
