Arrival Story:
Reginald was found in a box with his sister at a gas station the week before Christmas. A station attendant took the girl but didn't want the boy. We waited for a while but no one could take him and it was getting very cold. We decided to take him with us and figure it out later. The entire time my just turned 4 boy was napping. He woke up and just smiled and said "Baby doggy, these are my people and my name is Behr!" My Son is autistic and only just started speaking more than a couple of words together at a time. He has never shown any sign that he understands "family" or has self identified with his own name before. That is when we decided we would do whatever we had to to keep this little guy in our lives.

Bio:
We are two full time students (nursing and paramedic) with three boys, ages 7, 4, and 20 months raising a house full of fun with one dog, one cat, and a turtle.
