Hello! I just adopted a Labrador from a complete idiot who bought him as a puppy for his 3 year old and now that he is 3 1/2 years old and big (120 pounds), they did not want him. I was so upset for this poor guy...they were going to drop him off at the Human Society where he would have undeniably would have been put down. They also kept him tied up, so he was insanely excited to go on walks, but is a little weirded out because he is allowed in the house. I think he was abused because he ducks when people attempt to pet him...even sometimes when I pet him...he is also insanely afraid of bats and brooms because he freaked when he saw a bat outside and when I was sweeping the floor. He is a sweet, gentle man with a heart of gold!
