tug-o-war, fetch, eating, being with his people
well lets see..... wait... you know... usually I'M the pet-peeve around here.... so I guess none yet
My football and squeaky toy!
anything from a chunk of meat to a big stick.... I'll eat ANYTHING!
to a big open field with a nice little creek...
I can sit, heel, lay down, come, stay [know signals for all 5], but I'm a snot-nosed teenager right now, so I only come when I feel like it... I can wait until "Ok" when you throw a toy though. And I'm also working on sit-pretty as well as 'jump' :)
Otto came from a friend of mine. He had a very very very high risk of going to the shelter if the owner couldn't get him given away soon very sadly. His mother, Lady, is a gorgeous black/white Pit Bull, very slim & super duper sweet! The sweetest pit I've known. I'm not sure who the father was... I heard he was a Rot/Pit, then I heard he was something fluffy... So I figured he was probably a lab mix because Otto shows a lot of "Labular" qualities.
I used to not care much at all for Pit Bulls.... but as I came to know some/read about them, I had really seriously changed my mind. I had the Pit-Bug.... I wanted to know as much as I could about them! Shortly after I became attached to Pits, a friend said his dogs had pups, and so his wife took me down there to see them.... 7 pups there were... 6 boys, and the girl was spoken for already. I really liked the brindle puppy, and there was also a beautiful tan & black pup, but they didn't like me much.... but the big, fat, lazy tan pup cuddled up to me & whimpered softly. I knew he was the one. A couple weeks later the owner brought him over & we got him. I really wanted to call him "Magnum" but we really didn't think that name fit him well.... so we thought of "Auto" as in an "auto-gyro" gyrocopter..... [my dad's flying-rig...] so we decided to stick with "Otto" :)
Hi I'm Otto & I'm a destructive knot-head that you're sure to fall in love with! Even though once I learn something, its glued in my head, Obedience isn't generally what I excel at, but I promise that I will win you over with my loyalty and charming looks! Even though I have many times hurt my owners with even just my sheer-power, I would never hurt ANYTHING on purpose unless I thought it was threatening me or my beloved family.
So when you come over to meet me, just be sure to brace yourself.... cause I am a happy hyper boy & sometimes forget that I'm nearly 90 pounds of solid muscle...
Super cute, super sweet, super pit!

Well I just had my first birthday and I still had no idea what 'snow' was. Shasta would always talk to me about it & tell me how amazing it is.... fun to play in, fun to eat. Oh boy did I want to know what it was! One night, I went to bed... and when we woke up, the ground had a layer of cold, fluffy white stuff on it! Could this be snow?
Mommy came out to play with Shasta and me, she was all bundled up in her warmest clothes. I was so overjoyed with the snow that I hardly knew what to do other than be myself, so I ran around just as fast as I possibly could. This, is, AWESOME!!!! Mommy looked at me and said "You like this Otto huh? Come with us, we'll show you something even better!" Better than this??? How? Shasta, Cassy, and I got loaded up into the back of the truck and were taken to a place far away. There was nothing but knee-high snow as far as the eye could see.
Oh my goodness I don't think I've played that hard in a very long time... chasing snowballs down the hills, best day ever.
Eventually it was time to go home and go to bed. After a few days, all the snow was gone, I missed it a lot, Mommy said we'd probably never see it again...
However, a week later, it snowed even HARDER overnight! I played, and played, and played, and played till my little legs couldn't play anymore. I don't think I can decide what my best day ever was... they're all so great...
