Arrival Story:
This past summer I was working as a camp counselor at the YMCA. One of my kids insisted on showing me her dog at pick up, but I had been a life-long cat lover, and wasn't interested in having my face licked by a K-9. To my surprise however, during parent sign out, my camper ran over to me with her dog, who happened to be a pomeranian. I ended up talking to her parents for about 20 minutes about their dog and how they are as pets, considering I lived in a small apartment at the time. From that moment on, I was in love with the fluffy creatures.
I was in the car with my partner after work, and amongst my boring work ramblings, she mentioned that she went to the pet store to purchase cat food, and caught herself in the puppy section. While showing me the pictures of the (and I quote) "fuzzy lovey puppies that we HAVE to have," she told me her favorite was...the toy POMERANIAN!
From that moment on we were both in love, ran to the pet store, and brought her home =]
The best impulse decision I've ever made.
