Arrival Story: I found Wesley on the web through a local breeder. I picked him out the night he was born. I got updated pictures every couple of weeks and fell absolutely in love with him. His breeder and I talked a lot and still keep in touch. I would say I made a great friend in the arrival of Wes!

Bio: Wesley is absolutely spoiled! From the day I got him until now he has been like my baby. He doesn't eat without me, he doesn't sleep without me. He loves car rides. Wesley has big dog syndrome and he thinks all girl dogs were created for him. Soon we will get Wesley a girlfriend but until now mom is the only woman in his life. Wesley loves people so he gets lots of attention when we go out. His human like personality makes people want one just like him.

I love all dogs no matter how big or small, hairless, or what color they may be. My mom feels the same way but she says it could be a bad thing. We adopted Baby a few months ago and now she has found a new home with a wonderful family. How could her stay with us have been bad? Homer is here with us also in hopes to find a loving family. I hope he stays. I guess it was a little crowded here and feeding time was a frenzy if we weren't seperated. Perhaps I understand now. I know that if mom had not brought Baby to our home she may have never found a home so the sacrifice we all had to make was worth it. I wish more people could do that. I see a lot of adoptable dogs on Dogster that have loving foster homes and that makes me happy. I miss Baby but I know she is happy with that little girl and a new mom and dad. I hope Homer does too. I guess what I am trying to say is if you are taking the time to read this and you have some room foster a pup or adopt a hound. It was hard at times but that's what family is about right? A few months could mean a lifetime for some dogs. I love my mom and dad for being so generous. I don't like sharing my mom but I made it through this far. Even when space seems small imagine being locked up in those horrible kennels at the pound. So for all you big hearted people who unfortunately have small backyards keep in mind, if there is room in your heart that's all a pup needs. Hope I am not being too philisophical for some of you. For the love of Dogs, Wes

This past week has been so exciting! Baby came to live with us and she is lots of fun. Mom says she can't stay forever that there is another perfect family out there for her. Baby loves to run and play with us. She protects mom if I am not around too. I could never really depend on Gracie for that so Baby is like my second string. Mom said her heart is bigger than our backyard. That must be big because they took the pool down and now it's even more huge than before. I think she doesn't want Baby to leave either. I think she loves her just as much as me and Grace. The other great things about this past week are the cooler weather and mom took that stinky old carpet out of the living room. Now we have a huge concrete room to lay on and it feels so good. Mom said don't get use to it, there will be wood going down soon. Wood? Why would anyone want to lay on wood? I guess as long as my pillows stay I won't complain too much. Bad things for the up and coming cool weather - mom is getting out my sweaters and buying new boots. Yikes!

This weekend was very boring for me, Gracie had surgery on Friday so she wasn't allowed to play much. When mom wasn't looking she did though. I would get in trouble for provoking Gracie and we would have to go back inside. We have two doggy doors one that leads into the laundry room and one from there into the house. Mom doesn't know it but we would play in there for a while and then act like we were just coming in through the doggy door from outside. Gracie couldn't play for long periods but I didn't mind laying down in the big chair to rest. My humans were in and out of the house all weekend. We had a small bon fire and I didn't like it. Gracie made me nervous getting too close and all that smoke makes me sneeze. The marshmallows are gooey and I don't like them. While they were outside Gracie and I went back inside through the doggy door and stole a bite of food from the garbage. Gracie also took one of mom's shoes but she brought it back this morning. It was kinda wet but it will dry.
