Arrival Story:
I got a message from a kill shelter saying there was a boston available to rescue if I wanted him. He is about 3 yrs old and heartworm positive. I named him Disco from a list of choices the rescue gave me. He was picked up as a stray but had a collar and tag. When his owner was called they said they didn't want him anymore. The shelter as standard practice tested for heartworms. They put down heart worm positive dogs if rescue does not take them. :( I asked American Boston Terrier Rescue if they would take him and after we talked and I said I'd foster him till after the new yr for the, we went to get him. Just another dog to add to our growing list of rescues.

Bio:
I was in love before we even met in person. My heart was his from the minute I saw his picture. In less than 24 hours I had made up my mind that he had to be mine. After much thought and talking with my husband and myself, I emailled the rescue and said I want to adopt him myself. So he is mine. I am his. He will have all he needs and be loved for the rest of his life. I can't wait to make his past life a memory that has faded away.

Mom is not happy with me.

Well.......I have this little thing I do. I kind of chew on mom. I chew her fingers and her arms and her feet when I can get them. It's fun. I like the way she tastes. She says it hurts. She said I can't do that anymore. She said if I don't learn to control myself I will have to go to SCHOOL! She is not being fun.

It has rained for 3 days. Last night I heard big thunder. Of course I was not scared. It did wake me up though. If I get kind of uneasy I just get closer to my dad. I think sleeping in the people bed has quite a few good things about it. It's real nice when it's cold.

My friend Tucker has been sick but is feeling better. Little DeeDee, Honey and Puffin got their nails clipped today. I hid from mom. I heard her tell dad that she is doing mine tomorrow. Yuck! That's not fun.

Time for bed. Good night dear diary.
