Bio:
"Hello everyone, my name is Antonio Romo. You can just call me Romo for short. I’m about 18 months old and still 100% puppy. Sometimes I do silly stuff and my foster mom will laugh at me and call me Romero ‘El Stupido. Let me tell you a little about myself. My first parents dropped me and my fur girlfriend off at the shelter and told the nice people at the shelter that since we had just given them a nice litter or new puppies, that they didn’t need us any longer. Yeah I didn’t think they were very nice people either. One day while I’m sitting in the cold shelter a nice volunteer from Legacy Boxer Rescue came to see me so I decided I was going pull out all the cute looks from my bag of tricks for him. It must have worked because the next day someone showed back up at the shelter and took me away from that scary place. I’ll have to say I was pretty nervous that day, I had never seen this grey stuff they called a sidewalk and it kinda freaked me out so they picked me up and carried me to the car and off we went. When we got to what turned out to be my new foster home I was in for a big surprise! I actually got to stay in the house, and I was freaked out by all the new stuff for a week or so. Who could blame me? I mean really who has wood on the floor that you have to walk on. I’m used to it now and have even figured out this thing called a doggie door. I also have my very own fur sister that I get to play with. Sometimes she corrects me for being too excited, so I just lower my head and let her sniff me so she knows that I understand. Sometimes an old Scottie and little Tea Cup Poodle come over to the house and I get to hang out with them as well. So I get along with pretty much everyone. The best part about my foster home is that I have a two year old skin sister who likes to read me stories and have tea parties with me, and a teenage skin brother that likes to let me cuddle. They have this thing called a couch that when I’m being really good I get to hop on and lay down. I’m house trained, and my parents tell me they are so proud of me that I have never had an accident inside. I’m crate trained but I’ll try and fool you, I cry a little bit when you first put me in there just to see if maybe I can change your mind. I went to vet right after I left the shelter and had an operation and now they tell me I don’t have to make any more puppies ever again. That was pretty hard work so I’m glad about that. I have these things they call heartworms, but I have had some sort of treatment that they tell me will take care of those things pretty soon. I have to go back to the doctor the first part of February so they can make sure that they have them under control. Then I get a pill once a month to make sure the rest are all dead and I never get them again. Since I’ve been on the heartworm treatment I’ve been walking around the house on a leash all the time and I’ve gotten pretty used to it. I’ve never had much training in the past but I know what sit and stay are now. Once I get cleared from the doctor my foster mom tells me we’re going to go on a training boot camp so I can learn my manners. That sounds like fun. I’m very sweet and lovable and like to snuggle and get attention. If I sound like your kind of man, let my foster parents know, I’d love to meet you."
