Arrival Story:
I had been wanting a big dog ever since our Lab Carey died when i was young. We were military so dad said that when we own a house we will get another big dog. I did my research and decided i wanted a golden retriever. We finally bought a house in Florida and the next spring we found a good breeder in our area. When we came up to see the puppies all the blond ones had been reserved so i decided to go opposite and get the darkest one. She had a little purple collar that her brothers and sisters had chewed up when we brought her home.
Bio:
It took no time to house break her, she was so smart and cuddely. She didn't even bark at night while we were kennel training her. She grew up way to fast! Before we knew it she was a big dog but still all puppy. I went through obedience class with her and she was awarded most improvement. It was fun doing the class with her, she learned all the commands quickly and was extremely obedient. She followed me everywhere when i still lived at home with my parents, but in the spring of 03 when she was just turing 5, i got married and moved out. I think she went through seperation anxiety because she started causing problems for my parents like using the bathroom inside many times! She had never, ever done that when i was there, unless it was an emergency which she would do right in front of the nearest exit. Anyways, one day i will have a house with a back yard instead of an apartment with no fencing and she can come spend lots of time with me again. If the church would have allowed it, she would have walked down the isle with one of my brides' maids!!
