Being with his owner, doing tricks, taking walks and getting treats

Scout's biggest pet peeve is probably that he thinks we don't rub his belly enough

Favorite Toy:
His kong toy with fabric on it and a "tail" so he can toss it around

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
The park, especially when there are people there to pet him

Best Tricks:
He's really good at playing dead. He learned that trick in just two tries, even when the only reward was me and my little sister petting him and saying "good boy."

Arrival Story:
I had been searching for a Pembroke Welsh Corgi friend for a long time, and through my teen years, I was saving up for one. I searched all over, and finally when I was 16 I found an adorable tricolor corgi on a nearby breeder's site. I contacted the breeder, and she agreed that I could adopt the puppy. We picked him up on December 8, 2007. I named him Scout after Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird. He rode home in a kennel and I sat right next to him, making sure he was comfortable. When we got home, the little guy was already attached to me and followed me everywhere. My mom mentioned that it seems like he's my shadow because he hardly ever leaves my side. Scout was dedicated to me from the start.
