Birthday:

Arrival Story:
His official name is going to be "Sir Ailbe Knight of Harmony Mtn" .. Ailbe in old Gaelic means "white"... So, he's the WHITE KNIGHT helping the damsel in distress -- aka disabled American Veteran... Ailbe is pronounced ALL-bay, but since he'll be using command words with ALL in it then I changed it too AL-bay (like in the name of Albert). He arrives to his forever home on November 23, 2011... Ailbe will be a future "Mobility Assistance" Service Dog.. It will take about 2 yrs to complete his training..

Bio:
Ailbe hails from a long line of hunting "pudels".. He hails from Harmony Mtn Pudels of Arizona...

On June 2, 2014 Ailbe graduated from "Mutts With A Mission" ADI (Assistance Dogs International) service dog program. They'll be accredidated with the ADI by next Summer.

It was a long journey with its ups and downs, but well worth all the effort because I have an outstanding service dog. Training will continue on for the rest of his working years ...

Ailbe will be the 1st service dog to stay with a Veteran at the CLC (Community Living Center - Rehab) at McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond, VA. I'll be there for about three months as I recover from a double ankle fusion. They're going to work with me to make this a wonderful experience and to pave the way for future teams who also be allowed to stay with their handler..
