Fun weekend ^_^

I had a great weekend with mommy and daddy. Grandma and grandpa agreed to babysit my human sister, so my parents were excited to spend some time with JUST ME! It has been a long time since we have this quality time. We had a nice walk in a local park, and they took me to visit a friend of mine. Hopefully we can do this more often. I am just happy to know that my mommy and daddy love me.

Sleepy mommy

Now-a-days I always need to be more quiet in the house since my parents brought in a new member to our house: A human baby, which is my sister. My sister is so tiny and cries all the time, so mommy needs to take care of her 24/7. Mommy feels bad for me because she can't take me to the dog park as often as before, but she told me that she will try her best to have more fun with me once my sister has a more stable schedule. Mommy is tired with the baby all the time now, but she misses me. I am still her favorite fur baby, and she still says to me: You are my cutest and best behaved cupcake.

It's my birthday!

I haven't written any diary for such a long time. My mom felt bad that she has been busy preparing a new nursery and all the equipment needed for my human sibling who will be due in a month. Mommy has a big belly now, but she is glad to be able to stay home to spend time with me.

Mommy and Daddy took me out for an early birthday celebration few days ago. We went to Johnny Rocket restaurant, which had a dog cafe in the outdoor setting. The restaurant has a small and short dog menu available. My parents bought me a dish with 3 cookies in ball shapes - one pink, one brown, and one yellow cookie balls. They are just ok, but it's very interesting since I only eat dry dog food and dental chew at home, and it was the first time for me to try something different. And it was nice to dine with daddy and mommy while they enjoyed some nice food with me as a family.

It's hard to believe that it's my 1st birthday. Maybe I can say that I am no longer a puppy. Does that mean I need to be more responsible now and not to chew on my daddy's shoe laces from now on ^_^? Well, I will try my best, but no guarantee!
