Arrival Story:
She was my first dog.. I had actually put a deposit down on a chocolate lab but got a call at work that I HAD to go see this beagle. She was three weeks old (they tried to tell me she was 6 wks but anyhow) and full of worms. I brought her home with me that day, told the lab breeder to keep the deposit but my heart had been stolen and my life with a beagle began. She now starts everyday with coffee, she won't even lift the covers if it's not ready lol, and lives her life to the fullest. She was a therapy dog (I am a palliative care nurse) until about 2 years ago and I cannot begin to describe the special place in my heart where lucy lives. I love all of my dogs, but there is only one lucy. (sorry)
