Arrival Story:
During Hurricane Irene, the animal shelter I volunteer at was evacuating as they're next to water and did not want their dogs to be caught flooding. I chose Chance to take home with me for the weekend because the volunteers kept telling me she was the calmest dog ever and incredibly sweet. She also was not barking while I was looking at the dogs that were left. Once the hurricane was over, I did not want to take her back. She really is the calmest dog in the world!

Bio:
Way before I adopted Chance, her previous owner did not feed her at all and she had a huge stomach tumor. The poor girl was way underweight when I adopted her, but the animal shelter had her tumor removed two months before I realized she was at the shelter!
