Arrival Story:
My Uncle Tim, or "Unk" as I called him, got Sammy from his friend who worked in construction. Unk's friend found Sammy left in an abandoned apartment building that was about to be domolished. Sammy was tied to a doornob, with no food or water, all alone. Unk's friend gave him Sammy, and when Unk passed away, I took Sammy home because I remembered Unk talking about him so fondly, and I could tell he loved Sam. When I met Sammy for the first time, I could totally undertand why Unk loved him so much....He was sociable and friendly, and he was just desperate to find somebody to love him.
