Gotcha Date: July 9th 2011 Birthday: May 2nd 2011 Likes: Treats and Belly rubs Pet-Peeves: None, really. He is just a happy little dog. Favorite Toy: A spikey (sp?) rubber ball. So many toys, but that is the one he plays with the most!! :) Favorite Food: Fromm Favorite Walk: Wherever his humans will take him, he will gladly go! Best Tricks: Sit, Roll Over, Fetch, High Five, Lay Down, Paw/Shake Arrival Story: I was never allowed a dog growing up, and I was just at a point in my life where I could adequately take care of a dog, not to mention I/we needed some furry little fun and love in our lives.
I knew a small-breed dog was the way to go, as our house is small and our yard is not that big, so I did some research to determine 'which' small-breed dog would work best with us. But, with the old man to consider, I needed to look for a more sturdy type dog, and one that would not bark a lot. So a bichon or tzu seemed like a good choice.
While at times taking care of a dog from babyhood to adulthood and beyond IS a quite challenge, the lessons HE has taught ME far outweigh any troubles or adjustments that came along with having a dog. He truly has been a blessing to us. We cannot imagine our lives without the little guy. Forums Motto: Cheese? PLEASE! The Last Forum I Posted In: What monthly preventives do you use...?
