Hobbs used to enjoy a variety of fun snacks, however we discovered he has many food allergies and is on a limited ingredient dog food and snacks.

Arrival Story:
We wanted a Dog, Mom had 3 when She was a teen, and missed having one. So we looked on the internet at shelters and he was the one. We had to go 2 1/2 hours away to get him. He is an older dog and yeah, we have spoiled him....but he is so sweet! He is so funny because, sometimes you can just ask him like a person to do something like "back up Hobbs" and he will just do it. Another one is, get off the bed I have to fix it, and off he will go. If you just ask him to move though, he doesn't want to.

Don't get me wrong, I still love the snow but it's nice to go outside and not need my coat! Yes, my doggie coat stays in the house! It is still chilly at night but that's ok. I like it a little warmer now that I am not so young anymore. I wag my tail so Mommy knows I like it when we take a little walk and enjoy the sun :) then she pats me on the head and rubs that soft spot right above my nose! I love that!

Today is my Gotcha day! 12/23/2001 is the day I found my forever home! My family wasn't really sure how old I was but we've been together for 11 years now!
The next special thing is SNOW! Glorious, beautiful, delicious snow! I don't run around and around the yard the way I did when I was younger but it still puts a spring in my step and a doggie smile on my fuzzy face!

Hi Friends,
I was wondering, where has all my wonderful snow gone to? I think I heard it went to Denver. I miss my winter fun and can't wait for it too get here. I have been getting lots of rain. I am sure glad I got a new red doggie jacket for Christmas. It keeps me from getting too soggy out there. Mom says I look very handsome in it. She gave me a big hug when I put it on the first time. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
