Arrival Story:
Cinder was the runt of the litter I had patiently waited to wean for 6 weeks. I moved to Ohio halfway during my senior year of high school, and a new puppy was my parents way of helping me adjust. I knew the runt was perfect the moment I saw her!

Cinder stayed with my parents when I left for college and I would be anxious to come home for summer and holidays to visit my puppy. When my other Cocker, Chopper's, vision started to get bad from glaucoma, Cinder made the move from SC to WA to help be Chopper's "seeing eye dog" in October 2009. She wasn't very helpful, but they became good friends after a few spats about treats and toys. She's my old girl now, but you'd never believe she's almost 12! She loves to run and play and still has tons of energy. Although she has lost most of her hearing and has suffered from epilepsy since she was little, she is still very healthy and we would be happy to have many more happy, healthy years with her!
