Amy is a beautiful and incredibly sweet dog. She gets spurts of energy that are perfect for going on runs, chasing tennis balls and playing with kids. The rest of the time Amy would be happiest having a soft bed or someone to cuddle with. She currently spends most of her time with her stuffed fox that she takes very good care of. She also loves playing with other dogs. She is currently heart broken because her house mate Conan has decided he doesn't like other dogs. Amy needs a home that can be hers forever and people she can shower with adoration.
(Amy is being surrendered rather than the other dog because she has a much higher chance of happiness in a new home, and loves all people and dogs. Both vets and behaviorists have guided us in this very difficult decision.) Bio: Amy is up to date of all of her shots and has been spayed. She is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. She is also house trained and knows basic commands. Definitely can not live with cats. Amy would prefer an owner that is active. Because of her Greyhound/Whippet lineage she needs to run or go on a walk every day. A comfortable lap is also strongly suggested.

My hair has almost completely grown back from where I had my pain patch. It still feels really great to get scratched there though. Or anywhere for that matter. Maybe you want to scratch my belly for me?

Hopefully someone will see me and want to take me to my new home. I miss laying in my peoples lap while they watch a movie. It really is the perfect time to get scratched in all the best places!
