to PLAY! playing keep-away wiff disgusting stuff like dead stiff mousies or Reba's bones - playing wiff Reba or Da Boyz - napping next to mom on the couch - having ANY of the other dogs chase him!

thinking he's been left alone - Reba taking his toys and shredding them - when the big dogs bark, he runs to mom - being cold

Favorite Toy:
all of them, even the ones he finds like a stray sock or glove one of the guys at work left - especially Reba's bones - MOM playing TUG!

Favorite Food:
Treats! any tidbit mom will share of her's

Favorite Walk:
everywhere he can RUN! (around the property)... he has been exploring outside of the property (going under the fence) which worries mom because of coyotes & ....

Best Tricks:
him is still learning to come to his name (he will when him isn't doing what he thinks is more important), to SIT (have manners) for treats...

Arrival Story:
Reba's rescue lady (who mom got Reba from) has stayed in touch wiff her and they gots to be friends (the rescue lady was very happy wiff how Reba turned out). She stopped by and told mom about a pup who needed a home during her visit. Mom wasn't in the market fur a new dog or puppy, but there was just something... She asked Auntie Chris (who said I have enough dogs - yea me thinks 7 or so is good), who asked her mom (who said absolutely not) and Auntie Chris told my mom "why don't you take him?" Now here we are... God bless the rescue lady, he came wiff a complete pawty pack and then some! Bed, leashes, food, starter toys, clothes, treats, puppy shots, and more! Mom was so thankful! the poor boy had a hard week before he got here, read further....

An "elderly lady" (who the rescue lady says is very emotional and neurotic, explained later) bought him on a whim at a local bar from a guy in a band who bred him. She's the type who has her nails and hair perfect, and a small dog like Jimmy would be more of an accessory. (he got here wiff a RED blinged collar! NOT BOY COLORS!) Well her cat didn't like him... and he cried when left alone (he was just a BABY!) So she was gonna give him up... then she was gonna keep him... then she was gonna give him up... then she was gonna give him to her friend... then she took him to the rescue lady's house... then she wanted to pick him up again late at night... She had no idea what she was getting into, so the rescue lady talked her into letting him go... The rescue lady, Anne Firestone, who has dedicated everything to the happiness of ALL animals, knew mom would take care of him, treat him like a dog and teach him to be a good dog... So mom, thinking she was done wiff raising puppies, gots a new challenge BOL!

Intent by Coyotes to SNATCH ME Foiled!

Just like any other morning, me woke mom up and the other dogs around 6am cuz me had to go potty... With the change in the season, the sun is not up yet either at that time, but it's just starting to get light...

Mom went to the kitchen and sat by the window, looking to see us. But this morning things weren't quite right. She thought about how during the night she didn't see the wild bunnies all over the grass either, just one and that was strange...

She seen me run by, then Reba take off barking toward the back... Lots of times the big dogs will bark at other dogs they see off in the distance but this wasn't one of those times. Moments later she heard all us dogs barking our heads of fiercely! She knew something was up, so she came out as seen our silhouettes barking and meaning business... She started counting shapes as she headed in our direction and seen there were 5, no there were 6 shapes! 4 of us and 2 others...

Me was in the middle, flanked on both sides by Reba and Sammy on one side and Oscar on the other. The 2 other shapes stood motionless, not barking back, and worse, not leaving! We was about a half acre back and when mom got about 1/2 way there the coyotes figured out me wasn't on the menu and decided to leave...

Me went in wiff mom and had breffast, and mom served breffast to Reba and Da Boyz out on the patio like normal. Me went and snuggled wiff mom and Reba and Da Boyz patroled the property for the next couple of hours after they ate to be sure them was good and gone...

Be warned all my little-like-me friends! Coyotes hunt the most between dusk and dawn, and the daylight is getting shorter... Mom is gonna take extra precautions to make sure me stays safe... Better me outside space is limited and monitored, than me ends up........

so you think YOU gots problems!

Me has the same troubles every morning... Mom thinks it's funny :(

First, all us K9's goes out to potty and poop when it's time to get up... then breakfast is served! yummmmmm... me gets to eat in the house while the big dogs eat outside *snickers* Anyway...

After breakfast, me is in the mood to play! Me goes and finds my favorite toy to play wiff mom... Unless me goes to find my favorite bone, chews fur a bit, then me feels the need to HIDE it!

*this is where mom gets her "giggle on" first thing in the morning*

Me will prance from room to room, place to place, looking fur the pawfect spot... and yes, me will whimper, not knowing where it will be safe... me will find a spot... then a few minutes later go back and get it... chew on it fur a few minutes... then go to hide it again...

Mom THINKS she knows my hiding places... well, maybe she does... and Reba found one today too :(

Hiding something IS serious business!

So mom caught me outside wiff an ugly looking black thing in my mouth. It even looked kinda of hairy to mom... Me thought me had found something wonderful!

She tried to get it from me, I ran... she tried some more, me kept running, gobbling as I go...

In a couple of good gulps, it was gone! Her said "you'll be sorry" but me was anything BUT sorry BOL!

Me came in the house a little while later, wiff a sour look on my face... Before mom could rush me back outside, me puked up the black hairy thing :( It took 2 good yaks to get it all out of me tummy, but me felt better...

Mom said, "puppy knows best, huh? I tried to warn you!"

OK, maybe she was right THIS time....
