Mackie loves running through the woods, sniffing out the critters, finding nasty (to us) stuff to roll in!

Not being allowed to run through the woods .....

Favorite Toy:
Something he can pull the stuffing out of! Mackie also loves his kong, especially when it's full of treats like apple, banana and peanut butter

Favorite Food:
Liver, peanut butter, bananas, apple - pretty well anything!

Favorite Walk:
Through the woods when he run off the leash. OR the beach because it's got all sorts of tasty seafood snacks along the shoreline

Best Tricks:
Making food disappear

Arrival Story:
Mackie came to us after our wonderful Henry died suddenly on Jan 28, 2011. We weren't expecting to be able to welcome another dog into our lives quite so quickly but Mackie's owners decided they could no longer care for him and gave him up for adoption.

Dad saw a critter in the culvert ditch when we were walking back from the village Christmas tree lighting last night. I heard him talking to momma, and then we walked way over the other side of the road. Wonder what that was all about!
