Arrival Story:
I had been looking for a small dog for my kids through Petfinder.com, when I came across Bear's picture. I instantly fell in love with him, I told my husband about him but since we were scheduled to leave for Germany this summer we were hesitant, since it would be difficult to travel such a long way with a big dog. Anyway, just a couple of Days before we made plans to got o San Diego. The shelter said since Bear had a lot of inquries he would probably not be ther when we got back, I told myself if he's not there then it wasn't meant for him to come home with us. Sure enough when we came back, the next day I had an e-mail telling me Bear was still there and if I was interested to go see him. Then we found out we weren't going to Germany since hubby's orders were postponed for Sept. 2006 because he would be going overseas. As soon as hubby told me I immediately spoke to him about getting Bear and he said ok. The next day we went to the shelter and the rest is history. He loves the kids and the kids love him. He's a great addition to our family! I truly feel he was meant for us!
