My burfday 3-16-08

Well turning 4 years old was furtastic!! I had the bestest burfday ever!! Thanks to all my pals here on Dogster, the Pommie groups were wunderful and I even received messages from Mia's pals in the Maltese Mommy's group! I have never had so many presents in my wee life, lots of cakes, cupcakes, bones, birthday hats, treats from my pawrents, grilled chicken breast, frosty paws, and the best thing so much RUV sent my way!! Being here on Dogster.com made me feel like a fur real princess! Just look at the castle Georgie made for me, it is in my pictures!
My sweetie Drakey even sent me a message and a burfday treat on my page!! I just ruv him to pieces!! Wish he lived closer I'd give him a big Smoochie kiss!
Sending one in the air to him..........muuuuahhhh!!

Woo Hoo! I've been tagged!

Well I really feel important! I have seen lots of others get tagged so had wondered if I ever would.......so here goes!!

I am most thankful for this Thanksgiving season:

1-For the fact that my Mom wanted me in the first place and drove from MI to NY to get me, even after Dad saying NO to another furkid!

2-I am so thankful that I was able to wrap my Dad around my little paw after he met me.

3-I am thankful for my honorary Aunt Jennie in NY that told my Mom about me, without her I would not be part of this wonderful family, fur & human that ruv me soooooo much!

4-I am thankful for the food, treats, fresh water in my tummy, a warm cozy home and my Mom & Dad's big bed to sleep in each night.

5-I am thankful for all the people that are trying to rescue neglected pets and find homes for them, special thanks to people who foster pets too!

6-For all the Military Service people out there that make it possibly for us all to be safe and have our wonderful freedom!

7-Thankful for Dogster, that has added so much to our lives, many new friends and now some wonderful groups for us to be in!!

It's Harvest Time!

It's Harvest Time and I have harvested a whole bunch of new pals! This is so exciting, I have excepted invites to 3 groups! These groups of furpals are just the greatest and I am having so much fun all ready! We just hope we can keep up with them all as this is a busy time of year for my Mom! She works at place for humans that sells all sorts of neat smelling stuff for the home and their bodies! It's called Bath & Body Works....... I really like that she smells so good all the time and so does our house! No one would ever know that we have kitties and poochies here!
Mom has been so behind in helping me with writing on here or even adding or changing my pics to share with all of you! Hopefully she can get some of the new ones she has taken on here!
It is darn right chilly here now in MI, we are NOT looking forward to snow coming, hope it holds off for a while.
Things otherwise are great here, Sonny & I chase squirrels in the yard every time out to go do our business, we make quite a team running fast and me barking every inch of the way! Mia just watches us make fools out of ourselves........she has told me if I'd keep my mouth shut and not give them a warning that we are on our way out there we might just catch one! Mom thinks that is a good thing that squirrels can be nasty critters and sometimes carry disease.......oh well, we just RUV the chase!
Hope all is well with all of you out there in the Dogster World and my wishes to all for a very Happy Thanksgiving!! May we all be so very THANKSFULL for our homes, food in our bowls and our loving families! So sad that many don't have any of that!

July News!

Been a long time since I wrote in my diary! Mom has been busy so hasn't had much time to type for me arf arf!
Well we all went to the Thumb area of MI last weekend to my Aunt Peg's house for her 50th birffday! We camped out since she's lives out in the country! Her daughters were there too so we said we would leave the bedrooms to them and we'd rough it! arf arf!
It was so much fun and we all had a blast! There were 7 of us furkids there! Even my cousin Brody who is a Golden Retriever was there, he had a great time too! Usually I am the one that is not overly social but this time it was a blast! Maybe I liked it so much since my Dad was home and got to be with us. He is gone so much driving his big truck, it was great spending so much time with him! I whined alot so he held me most of the time, yepper I am a Daddy's girl for sure! I''ll need to get Mom to post a pic of Dad & I on my page.
Not much else new for us, as Mom has been working more and if not working she is working outside working in her flower beds and taking care of her veggies that are growing in big pots! I love to run out and chase the squirrels and birds away, I run fast as fast can be out the door just a barking, like I am some big huge furkid!
Well gotta go for now and ck out Sonny, he just got home from the groomer! He is a problem child for Mom to brush so he got a haircut!

"March"ing in!

Well it is now the first part of March and I am sure hoping for some better weather! We all are anxious about some warm sunny, DRY days! We've either got sleet, freezing rain, rain or snow for so long now! So tired of getting my paws wiped every time we come in, or worse yet having to wear a coat each time we go out!
My new brother Sonny and I are pretty good friends, we play tug-of-war quite often with toys! Sonny is bigger and stronger than I am but I add a few growls and grrrrr's while we do it so I usually win! Arf arf! You should see when Sonny, Mia and I run round and round in the living room around the cocktail table, we have such fun! Makes up for not being able to stay outside very long and playing out there is the wet messy yard!
My birthday is coming up soon on the 16th, sure can't wait to see what goodies I get this year.......

Whoa! It's burrrrrrr outside!

We have been getting some really weird rain here lately, well atleast if feels and looks sorta like rain, but it is thicker than usual. It is making icicles everywhere. Many cities around us had alot of trees fall down and hit houses and cars, thank goodness nothing like that has happened at our house. When we went to bed last night Mom took her candle lighter and a flash light, said if the power went out she would be ready. I don't understand all of that, what do they mean the power went out, where does it go out to?? Guess they say that we are going to get more weather like this over the next day or so, so that means Mia & I have to keep wearing out coats outside to go potty. Too wet lately to even go for a walk! Yuck!

Merry Christmas!!

Well finally with the help of my new pal Drake, a quite handsome young Pom, I might add!! my Mom has got my page looking pretty festive! My Mom has been working since Oct, which my sister Mia and I are surely not use to! She use to be home every day with us since we arrived! Now she is so busy getting ready for Christmas and working we don't get to spend much time with her, which makes us sad. Mia and I get to sleep right next to her each night so that helps some. She tells us that she misses us too! We dance and bark like crazy when she gets home and give her lots & lots of kisses to show her just how much we missed her. Our Dad drives truck and goes all over the US, so we miss him bunches too! He will be home soon, we can't wait!!!
I want to wish all my pup pals and other dogster members a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, whatever they celebrate in their homes and many treats, new toys and belly rubs!! and of course a Happy, Healthy New Year!!

Dog Days of Summer!

Not sure why they call them the DOG Days, as I am not so sure of really liking these hot days we are having here in Michigan, feels more like Florida or someplace out West!! Every time I go outside I hurry and do my business and then run for shade or back to the door asking our Mom to let Mia and I back in. We usually like to run and chase each other outside but not in these 98-99 degree days we have been having. Even our Mom who usually loves being outside working in her flower beds doesn't go out much unless it's early in the morning or later in the evening.

Suprise!!!

I did have a Birthday Party!! Wow, it was neat turning 2yrs old! I had friends over and my Mom had special treats bags from bunnigoods, they were full of homemade doggie treats! Mom forgot to go get the Frosty Paws so just had a special doggie Birthday cake! MmmMmmm, Paw licking good!
I got this special t-shirt to wear that says I'm the Birthday Girl, and a special birthday hat. Just the right size for my little head, and I didn't mind wearing it either! My best presents were a new pigs ear and a filled hoof, those are so yummy and great for keeping my teeth cleaned.
I gave my Mommy extra kisses that night after the party, she was laughing and calling me Licky licky....guess I got carried away with Thanking her for my party.

Getting Excited!

I know something is going on in my house!! I know I am turning 2yrs old tomorrow the 16th, and overheard plans for a party! Hmmmm, bet it is a birthday party for me!! A package came in the mail yesterday which my Dad got from the delivery man, he wanted to open it and my Mom said No! not right now! My Mom & Dad thought I was sleeping but I heard my Mom tell Dad that the package is for my birthday. I was on my Mom's lap the other day while she was on the computer, again she thought I was sleeping when she called a friend about some what size hat her dog would wear that she was going to order online. I bet that is what is in that box!!
Well, I guess I will have to let you all know tomorrow how my birthday went!
