Nicknames:
Pretty Girl, Simoney, Monie, Mone, Ms. Pug, Wiggle Butt

Quick Bio:
-purebred

Likes:
My Moglee. I also love to give kisses, go on car rides, wag my whole butt, chase my kitties, bark at the TV, try and eat bird poop, and cuddle with my mom.

Pet-Peeves:
Those darn animals on the TV and the loud scary vaccum. Also, I hate it when the cat runs because then I HAVE to chase her.

Favorite Toy:
My nylabone. Mom, it's time for a new one!

Favorite Food:
Pretzels.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere. I love my walks!

Best Tricks:
Sort of sitting. And only when there's a treat involved. I used to pee on the bed too, but mom didn't seem to impressed.

Arrival Story:
I use to live with another family, who had a male pug that was Moglee's brother. My old family wanted a female that could breed, and because I was born a hermaphrodite, I will never have babies. So my old mom and dad saw an ad in the paper that my new mom and dad placed. They were looking for a companion pug to their own, Moglee, and the rest is history. It was a strange coincidence that Moglee was related to my pal, Milo. And although Moglee and I come from different breeders, we're only one day apart!

I hurt my eye! :o(

Two weeks ago, on a Friday night, my mom notcied my left eye was a little red, but she just thought I got something in it. The next day, my cornea turned all blue and runny, and there was a visible hole in my eye! My mom looked really scared!

Thankfully my grandma knew a vet that specializes in eyes, so my mom and dad rushed me over there and the vet squeezed me in. It turns out I had an ulcer in my eye, and that my eye was on the verge of rupturing. If that happened, I would have had to have my eye removed!

My mom and dad were sent home with seven different medications (mostly eye drops) to administer me over the weekend. One was made into a serum out of my own blood! I also had to wear a cone, which I didn't like at all. After a while, I got used to it, but it made getting around and eating difficult. Some of the drops had to be given to me every 2 hours, so none of us got much sleep all weekend. Mom had to print out a schedule so that she knew when to give me the right drops!

Monday morning, I was scheduled for surgery to save my eye. The surgery was a success, but I was groggy and sick all day long. I really missed my mom, and when she came to get me, I heard her voice and cried out for her until they let me see her. They made me wear the cone again, and I went home and slept all night in between drops, which only had to be given 4 times a day now. Moglee was worried about me and slept near me all night.

Every day for the last 2 weeks, my mom and dad cleaned my eye for me and gave me my drops. I had my third eyelid stitched over my eye to act as an eyepatch until today, when I had the stitches removed. It feels much better now! And only a couple more days and I will be cone free! Mom says she's glad because she hates seeing me run into things, and her legs hurt from me bumping into her all the time.

Hopefully the rest of my recovery goes as well! Bum wiggles and kisses!
