Disgruntled Dog!

Sometimes I'm not very happy with my Mom. Yesterday she took my 'brother', Major, for a walk and she didn't take me. She says she doesn't like me to go on long walks because she thinks it bothers my back legs if I walk too far. I also don't get to go on the shorter walks a lot of the time either! I don't like to do my 'duties' like Major does before we go on a walk and prefer to do them while we're walking. Well apparently, Mom doesn't like that because it embarrasses her when she has to clean it up. So if I don't do my 'duty', I don't get to go. But the good thing about it is that I get to stay outside in the backyard. I love being outside in the fresh air and protecting my backyard from the rabbits and squirrels (they should know by now it's my yard, not theirs!). I guess staying home isn't so bad. It makes me feel important knowing I'm protecting the backyard! :-)
