Arrival Story:
I adopted Krauser from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter in GA on October 1 of this year, 2011. He is huge! Brought him home and found out he was sick. Took him to an ER vet and they said he was fine, but his neuter incision looked swollen, so she put him on antibiotics. He became more sick and more sick. I took him to another vet and he turns out to have pneumonia. I have nursed this dog back to health and he is almost fully recovered. Now that he is becoming himself again, I find many things I'm not liking about him. I think he might be aggressive. He really scares me sometimes. Mind you he's going on 80lbs now that he's eating regular again. He's sweet when he wants to be, but when he doesn't...He is VERY dominant at all times. So far, I have really not gotten to enjoy having him. He's been sick, so can't go out and exercise. Any noise he hears, he flips out and growls fiercely and barks and nothing I do will break that mode. I need help. I've contacted a trainer and she seems to think I shouldn't keep him for safety reasons.
