Zoe loves her brother Koto above all else
Zoe does not like skateboards, bikes, loud trucks, upside down garbage cans
Zoe loves anything that she can chew, and she loves Koto to play with her the most
Chicken jerky, but will also eat sticks, grass, dirt, paper, cloth, etc.
Zoe loves to walk anywhere with her brother Koto
Zoe can leap onto one of our swivel rockers and turn it so that she can look outside.
We saw Zoe's photo on Petfinder. She was at a county shelter about an hour away, and she was described as a Shepherd-Chow mix. We had just lost Sweetie, our Chow, to cancer and wanted to rescue another dog in her memory. When we went to see Zoe, we found out that she was the runt of the littler, very shy, and did not want to be separated from her 3 brothers. We ended up adopting one of her brothers (Koto) to ease her transition.
Zoe is very shy and timid. She is afraid of anything/anyone new or strange. For example, she is okay with a regular garbage can, but is deathly afraid one one that is turned upside down. She is afraid of people on bikes and skateboards but is slowly getting used to them. She is okay with other dogs so long as they are small, but is still very shy with people she doesn't know.
Although Zoe and her brother are from the same litter, they have different fathers. Their mother is a Collie-Lab mix while Zoe's father is a Whippet mix, and you can see this in her coloring, her long slim muzzle, and her ability to jump high with very little effort.
She is also an eater of all things - we think she is part goat. She eats dirt, sticks, grass, cloth, paper, etc.
