Koto loves to play ball - catch and fetch, and he loves to go to doggie camp.
Koto does not like cats and squirrels.
Balls are his favoritem, hands down. He loves squeaker balls but destroys them in about 10 seconds.
Koto loves to walk anywhere, so long as it's with his sister.
He is a good ball catcher.
We had just lost Sweetie, one of our Chows, to cancer and were suffering the loss when my husband suggested we save another dog in memory of her. As soon as we decided to do this, some of the grief was gone and we looked for another adult Chow to adopt. We then found out about some Shepherd-Chow mix puppies at a county shelter an hour away and we went to see them and fell in love. We went to adopt his sister Zoe, but we ended up adopting Koto also because Zoe was so shy and would not be separated from her brother.
We have had DNA blood analysis done and know that although they are from the same litter, Koto and Zoe have different fathers. Their mother was a Collie-Lab mix and Koto's father was a total mix breed with no prominent breed. No Chow, and no Shepherd in him, although everyone thinks he is a German Shepherd mix.
Koto is a very smart, friendly boy who weighs in at 75 lbs at 9 months old!
