Arrival Story:
Mercy was seized from her owner in an animal cruelty/neglect case in July of 2010. When she was rescued, she had a tumor the size of a gumball on her lower jaw. The Yorkie rescue group we fostered for decided to give Mercy a chance to live a normal life and she became our foster baby. In addition to her tumor, she had emphysema, an old and incorrectly healed broken back, and luxating patellas. After fostering Mercy for 5 months we decided there was no way we could let her go and officially adopted her.
