Arrival Story:
My boyfriend and I had recently lost our dog (Jolie)due to poisonous mushrooms. We had gone to the Silicon Valley Humane Society just to look and fell in love with Jack and had to have him. We found out that Jack had had a tough start. He was taken away from his first family by Animal Control. They said he couldn't be food tested (we had to sign a waiver), and that he was hand shy.When we got to meet him you would never had known, he loved us from the start. Once we got him home we found out that he was extremely hand shy, very male aggressive (really bad if you wore a baseball cap) and hated water (he would run into the other room if we ran the sink or sprayed my orcids with the spray bottle). Now he isn't hand shy anymore. He isn't male aggressive anymore but is still a bit timid if you have curly hair and a ballcap on. He tolerates water for a bath and even plays a little in the surf at the beach.

Bio:
I love to go for bike rides with my new mom and dad.They are teaching me to be a trail dog so I can go mountain bike riding with them. I love barking at my mom until she plays with me. I hang out everyday with my friends Lani(wolf/husky)and Apollo(black lab). I love to pick on my brother Max(Shephard/shar-pei)all day when our parents are gone and when they're home. I really enjoy when our friend Annie comes to visit us when her mom is on vacation. My mom and dad got me a backpack so when we go for walks I carry my own stuff.
