Arrival Story:
Donny came to "Pug Luv" as a stray that was not claimed. The MPR vet estimates him to be 3 to 4 years old. He has now been neutered and vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella, fecal, heartworm and blood tests were done. Tests were also done on his skin as a result of several areas that appeared questionable. The skin tests came back normal but the heartworm test was positive. He will undergo heartworm treatment. At this time there is a national shortage of the medication that is used to treat the disease. Once the medication becomes available he will be treated. He is currently being evaluated with regard to housetraining.
