Arrival Story:
Meet Robin! Robin is a 7-year-old white boxer who is deaf. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. Robin gets along well with cats, children, and other dogs.
Robin is heartworm negative. She exhibits some signs of arthritis, as she sometimes walks and runs with stiffness in her lower spine and hips. Her foster mom indicates that she needs a boost to get in and out of the car.
Robin is very sweet and has a playful personality. She enjoys going to the park and playing with dogs and children. In her foster home, she goes to the Barton Creek Farmers Market each Saturday morning and loves on the children and other dogs.
Robin is house-broken and leash-trained. While she has not been crated in her current foster home, she was crated much of the time before coming to rescue. She behaves well in the house and does not have to be crated.
Robin lives in a foster home with a foster brother and sister Boxer and 3 cats. Her foster mom walks with a walker and she has no difficulty managing Robin, as she is a calm, gentle girl, who does not pull or tug on the leash. She is also extremely quiet.
