Arrival Story:
Adopted at 10 years of age from Hearts United for Animals (HUA), a no-kill rescue, shelter, and sanctuary located in Auburn, NE. Yuki spent the first 8 years of his life as a breeding male in a puppy mill until HUA liberated him! After undergoing treatment for heartworms, Yuki was put up for adoption...two years later, I found him on their web site and instantly knew he was the one. After a successful intro to our resident Norwegian Elkhound LB, he came home with us on 9/5/10.
