Arrival Story: Danica is a beautiful four year old female fawn with white blazes around a perfect little brown circle on her chest. Her foster mom says she is "quite ladylike and well behaved". Some say she looks like a cute little Gremlin. She has a snaggle tooth that allows her tongue to hang out. She is also known as the household "snuggle bug". While Danica has had minimum exposure to children, she is compatible with the other dogs and cats in her foster home. She is calm and timid most of the time and does not particularly care for chaos or loud noises. While she is very bright, and adapts easily to her surroundings, Danica would likely fare best in a calm environment. Danica enjoys playing with her toys and rolling in the grass. She is fascinated with water sprinklers. She is house trained, crate trained and becoming more and more comfortable with her leash walking. She loves being pampered with a bath and a little ear cleaning from time to time. After all, who doesn't? Danica has had a tough life and is ready for a loving, stable home.
