Arrival Story:
I first saw Suede online at the Humane Society here, she was a clearance doggie only 53 dollars. I went to see her and she was very timid and very shy. I worried that she would never open up to me. First week was hard, she wouldn't let me touch her face or sit near her. After a month, she was running and would never leave my side. She has such a personality. She is so intense; she will literally stare you in the eyes for more than a min and dogs do not normally do that. She has been my side mate and will always be with me even after she leaves me.
Bio:
She was in a puppy mill but only suffered some scaring on her ears. When I got her she had mange but it cleared within a month. She does have a lot of separation anxiety, which was the cause of being kept in the shelter for a year. She used to poop a lot in her cage and bark relentlessly. She still barks a lot but the pooping has stoppedf mostly. Other than this, one of the best dogs I have owned.
