Sleeping (particularly in someone's lap)

Baths. Her big brother Tank.

Favorite Toy:
She plays with her food.

Favorite Food:
Our other dog's food-no matter what it is.

Favorite Walk:
She likes to frolic freely in the front yard and sniff around (with me watching her closely of course!)

Best Tricks:
She "dances" around her food. She does a little prance around a food pebble, sometimes with a playful bark and sometimes she rolls on it. She also likes to use food as a torture trick/barrier where she won't let our other 2 dogs walk by.

Arrival Story:
My best-friends dog had a litter of puppies. The father was a chinese crested and the mother was a chihuahua. The litter had 2 completely hairless puppies, 2 full-fur puppies...and Kimo the "patchy" half hairless half...well hairy runt. Everyone loved on the "normal" looking puppies but didn't want to touch "Patches" who was odd looking, had weird breathing and was the runt of the litter. Well, that's when I knew Kimo was mine! She was the tiniest little thing and absolutely adorable in my eyes! Every time I visited i made a bee-line for little Kimo (they had nicknamed her Patches but I thought that was overdone). I brought her home knowing my mom wouldn't say no to this adorable puppy once she saw mom reluctantly let me keep her and she's been my little buddy ever since. Now that she's older and calmer it's hard to believe what a bustling ball of energy she used to be. Bouncing into people's laps (and sometimes faces) she has a special sense and knows when people don't particularly care for her (maybe they aren't dog people, maybe they think she's funny looking). She eventually gets them all, one-by-one, begging to sit next to them or on their lap until they eventually cave in and come to know her and love her. She is sweet and very sensitive-all you need to do is talk in a low voice and she knows she's been naughty. Sometimes she's a little too sensitive. She craves constant attention but I like that she is a little needy and always willing to cuddle or sleep next to me and keep me warm during cold winter nights. And she is a lot like me...little but tough and willing to defend herself like a lot of small dogs are. I love my little Kimo!
